"Wonderous Energy" original acrylic painting. The 36" x 36" canvas bursts with energy and movement

Wondrous Energy

A powerful wave rises and curls in Wondrous Energy, capturing the motion, force, and rhythm of the sea in a single sweeping gesture. Layers of turquoise, deep blue, and white create a sense of movement and depth, with the crest of the wave breaking into light against an open sky.

The composition draws the eye inward, following the curve of the water as it builds and releases. Expressive brushwork gives the piece a sense of immediacy, less about a fixed moment and more about the energy within the ocean itself.

Both dynamic and meditative, the painting reflects the ever-changing nature of the sea, its strength, its movement, and the quiet pull it holds.
