Fused glass panel of a fish swimming past reeds.

Still Water Passage

Still Water Passage captures a quiet moment beneath the surface, where a single form moves steadily through calm, translucent space. A warm, speckled silhouette, suggestive of a fish, glides past dark, vertical reeds that anchor the composition and introduce a sense of place. The soft, pale ground creates an atmosphere of stillness, allowing the contrast between organic forms and structured lines to emerge with clarity. Christine Kende’s fused glass technique builds layered depth and subtle texture, with small suspended bubbles and variations in opacity that shift gently with the light. Includes a metal stand, the piece reads as both an intimate landscape and a sculptural object.
