Magenta Drift by Christine Kende
Magenta Drift moves through a soft, atmospheric field where a single form glides across layers of misted glass. A luminous magenta silhouette—suggestive of a fish—emerges and recedes within veils of white and muted earth tones, while vertical linear elements and suspended bubbles introduce a sense of depth and quiet motion. The composition feels fluid and contemplative, evoking the stillness of underwater space or the slow passage of something just beyond reach. Christine Kende’s fused glass process builds layered translucency, allowing light to shift through the piece and subtly transform its presence throughout the day. Mounted on a metal stand, the work reads as both an abstracted natural form and a sculptural object.
