Spring Aspen

Spring Aspen captures the fresh energy of a forest coming to life, where slender trunks rise through a vibrant field of green, gold, and soft light. Clusters of bright yellow leaves shimmer against a layered backdrop, suggesting the first burst of spring growth. Expressive lines and textured glass create a sense of movement and depth, while scattered elements evoke light filtering through the trees and settling on the forest floor. Christine Kende’s fused glass technique builds dimension through multiple layers, allowing the surface to shift subtly as light changes. The piece conveys both the vitality and quiet rhythm of the season, inviting a moment of calm within a luminous woodland setting.
