Next Stop Columbia River Maritime Museum - Framed Print by Bill W Dodge

"Next Stop, Columbia River Maritime Museum" by Bill W. Dodge is an American Folk Artist well known for painting iconic images of various towns. The red frame sets it off beautifully. Bill borrowed the labels from the Museum while working on the original painting. This image depicts boats out on the river, visitors to the museum, the Astoria Riverfront Trolley is going by with everyone playing, dogs running, a fun day out on riverwalk. This is an iconic print of Astoria, Oregon. It has a variety of boats on the water, a tug, the Queen of the West rivercruise boat, a sailboat, a tall ship, a pilot boat and more. Astoria has a rich history of canning, so all of the labels in this print are from local canneries.
