Emerald Cane Amphora

A striking hand-blown glass amphora by Louis Andrew Schaffer, this piece features flowing cane work in deep emerald tones layered over a dark ground. The elongated form and softly flared lip create a classic silhouette, while the sweeping lines introduce movement and depth.

The interplay of color and transparency gives the surface a dynamic presence, shifting subtly with changing light. Both sculptural and functional, this vessel stands as a refined example of contemporary studio glass.
