A Special Dinner

Set against a richly expressive field of color, A Special Dinner captures a moment of quiet preparation before an evening unfolds. A simple arrangement of white blooms rests on a small table, accompanied by a bottle and cork, suggesting the beginning of a shared experience rather than the event itself.

The background moves with bold, sweeping strokes of red, gold, and violet, creating a sense of energy that contrasts with the calm presence of the flowers. This interplay between movement and stillness gives the piece its rhythm, drawing the eye between the intensity of color and the softness of the arrangement.

There is an anticipation here, a pause before conversation, before gathering. Not the dinner itself, but the moment just before, when everything is set and waiting.
