Path to the Shore

Path to the Shore by Christine Kende is a one-of-a-kind gel plate monotype capturing a quiet coastal approach, where a sandy path winds through grassy dunes toward an unseen ocean beyond. Soft greens and layered blues create a sense of openness and movement, while two distant figures add scale and a subtle sense of journey.

This monotype resonates with collectors drawn to coastal landscapes, dune paths, and moments that suggest arrival and transition. The composition feels both expansive and intimate—an invitation into a familiar yet fleeting shoreline experience, well suited for interiors inspired by the Pacific Northwest and coastal living.
