The Papal Visit

The Papal Visit, an Americana print by Bill W Dodge is a fun scene from Bill's imagination. He often researches the elements of his paintings. He found these port o potties with hearts on them, which worked perfectly for the scene. Over the years, he'd seen all of the various protest signs at different marches. The Priest is on the run, the news crew has arrived and the protestors have their messages on display. Take a moment to read them. There is a lot of humor, and to think that these signs were really out there for the world to see. (There is an original version of this print currently available on the website.)
