About the Artist
Michelle Lindblom is a lifelong visual artist whose creative path includes more than two decades of teaching college-level art before fully dedicating herself to her studio practice. Now working as a full-time artist, she creates from her studio in Washington, drawing inspiration from years of travel, the people she has encountered, and the quiet nuances of daily life.
Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and abroad, including shows in England and Norway. Guided by intuition, her process is one of exploration and discovery, layering color, texture, and movement into abstract compositions that reflect her internal dialogues and lived experience.
“Once the process begins, it becomes a visual playground,” she writes. “My imagery portrays the continuous dialogues with my psyche along with my awareness of the nuances of everyday experiences.”
