About The Event

Bill W. Dodge has been painting for 60 years, iconic images of landscapes, cats, dogs, animals, children, towns people, chronicaling the world around  him. Through the artists eyes you view the evolution of one of the oldest settlements on the West Coast, Astoria, Oregon. He captures the tourist attractions, venues, Victorian Homes, vessels traveling along the Columbia River, whimsical scenes that keep the eye attuned to intricate details. 

Behind every painting is a story, a memory of what inspired the painting or the journey as it unfolded on the canvas. There are many that the artist did for himself, paintings that explore a departure from his usual subject matter. Much of this work has been stashed away. He is sharing then now in print and available for collection. Explore the many facets of this great American Folk Artist.
