Edward Barton (1926 - 2012) was active/lived in California, Texas. Barton is entirely self-taught as an artist.  He was born on June 24, 1926, in New York, and made his home in California.

He is a member of the American Institute of Fine Arts, California, and listed in American Artists of Renown. His painting Sinking of Atlantis is being exhibited around the world and his work can be found in private and corporate collections.
