Angi D Wildt

Reflections, Sailboats, Natural Beauty of the PNW

Angi D Wildt’s passion for photography began in middle school the moment she picked up her first camera—back when every shot meant waiting to see what came back from the lab. In high school, she helped produce the yearbook and spent summers studying photography and journalism at Maryville Community College in Missouri. It was there that the puzzle pieces clicked into place: framing, light, shadow—all part of the lifelong art of capturing moments.

Angi’s work reflects her deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, especially the waterways she knows as both photographer and sailor. Ripples and reflections often take on an impressionistic quality in her images, while shoreline textures and wave patterns inspire her more abstract compositions. Sailboats, harbors, and quiet details of coastal life frequently appear in her lens.

A longtime dream to open a gallery—twelve years in the making—ultimately became the platform not only to support other artists but also to exhibit her own work. In addition to gallery photography, Angi’s images appear in local news and have reached wide audiences through Google Maps, where her contributions have been viewed more than 12 million times.

Promoting people, places, and hidden beauty remains at the heart of her work—both behind the camera and in the gallery.
